There was this empty lot near where I live that was essentially a farmer’s middle finger to the county and state, corner of his field that got cut off by the new state highway and then he refused to let the county build a road through it so there’s three tight corners dodging around it. Eventually got sold to a development company that then took three years to finish building there and it’s just another damm apartment complex.
