Eh… its what happens when you have businessmen dictating what creatives do. (I mean you need it to a certain extent) but they want to get something pushed out by a certain time to meet fiscal quarters, or they don’t want to pay for beta testing so they launch as a live beta. On the other hand, pure creatives can then take forever and waste tons of resources to get it just right… so its a balance.

*BTW, love your work, followed you for years and I love how you always have stayed true to your self and your characters without messing with it in ways that feel inorganic.

True, many things can happen for many reasons when making games. But there’s been a few big profile games that launch and have to put out an “oops it wasn’t ready” apology. At least Kingdom Tears wasn’t released until finished finished
