Hello to twenty years ago of posting the first comic of such!  The biggest thank you to all you readers who have stuck around this whole time reading the adventures and normal life shenanigans these characters get themselves into.

What I find funny was last year I was trying to think of something special to lead up to today.  Then I noticed the story line I started last summer had potential to be that – lots of call backs, cameos, closures, and Doug being nostalgic.  “Too bad I started this story now instead of then!” I thought.  How nice it was then that it ended up taking nine months to tell and worked out in the end!  It’s also funny how everybody needed to break out their winter coats and the start but now it’s spring.  No don’t know how that works.

So thanks again for sticking with me for an almost year long story and two decades of fast food and video game whatevers.  I have no idea what’s next, how long this can go, or what I’m doing.  But it’s going so go it does!

AND PUNCH FOR ALL!

Seriously though I’ve been reading this comic since middle school at this point, and it’s kind of amazing to me that it’s still going when so many others have bit the bullet and either ended or just been abandoned. It’s a webcomic institution at this point, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s to a long and prosperous future of Phil, Doug, Millie, and all the rest!

Lily AND Toast! My two most favorite characters ever. I love that Phil and Millie are living such a good life and that Doug is still a part of it – Punch (and an extra large cake) for all indeed!
Congratulations Andrew – here’s to another great 20 years!

Twenty years of comic is an absolutely wild achievement. Congratulations!

When Doug got into his big speech, I was getting lots of “dramatic finale of the whole comic” vibes, and started to worry — even though you’d be more than justified in wrapping it up and taking several victory laps by now. Glad it’s a “dramatic anniversary celebration arc” instead, and that we’ll get to keep watching Doug, Phil, and Millie for at least a while longer.
