See I’m working on finishing my console collection instead, getting Intellivisions working is a pain.
I go through phases where I get interested in collecting some of that stuff but end up backing off because it gets too expensive. I don’t want to get caught up in collecting a ton of expensive things again, heh. That said I’ve always had a thing for handheld systems and that interest has peaked this summer learning about all the cool things people have been doing with GBAs.
I actually managed to finish my Gameboy collection recently when I found the Famicon-themed Micro at a thrift shop for $40. It’s scratched all to hell, but it works and the screen isn’t burnt in.
Impressive! I’ve actually never own an original Gameboy. I do have the Icey Blue Pocket though. There are several “gosh I wish I got that new when I had a chance” systems. Luckily I do have a Virtual Boy (which is sadly broken) and a Micro (which I still play). Oh, and I still have the boxes to all of these systems because I’m crazy like that.
