The Direct as a whole was a disappointment, imo. I like Xenoblade but really didn’t want Pyra in Smash, we got next to nothing on Zelda, literally nothing on Metroid which is also at its 35th anniversary, and the only thing I really liked was Splatoon. And honestly, I was hoping it was some weird Splatoon spinoff, like a JRPG where you traverse the more hostile side of the post-apocalyptic world Splatoon has been hinting at (and now confirmed) to be set in.
