Ask Lucy to come to the drive thru. And let her evaluate your ‘welcome’ message. (And her own attention span to it).
This sort of thing happens in real life. All they evaluate is how verbatim one sticks to the over-long script.
And I used to get banned from answering the telephone (or working drivethru) when they knew corporate would be pulling this crap. I adamantly refuse to upsell or suggestive sell. Pisses me off when places do that to me so I refuse to do it to others.
Lucy needs to work a shift or two at a drive thru window immediately.
