He wasn’t like this ‘Before’ he was elected.
Before he was to lazy to even attempt all those things.
Maybe that was one of the problems, people were thinking “Oh he’s too lazy to actually do the horrible things he says once we give him power then remove all consequences, we’re probably safe!”
They probably are uneducated.
As it gets repeated in history over and over, in various forms but we mostly know it by:
“Absolute power, Corrupts absolutely”.
