It is called ‘Roll Play’.
As no one wants a snickering weak and pathetic mayor. People look up for aggressive over the top people who joke about everything important while trying not to make them look like complete fools by saying ‘i never said that’. (e,g;’Donald & Boris)
.. .. So now i want to see Norvell defeated in a totally impossible way only Doug would think of.. like putting a Norvell rant on youtube..
It reminds me of the saying it’s – “What weak people thing a strong man should be, and what poor people think a rich man should be.”
Sigh … I hear the excuse “oh he was only joking” so much that this punchline comes to mind all the time.
