I want to like Adventure Time, I really do. It has a fun story, cool setting, serious plot, but I hate the show.

I cannot stand listening to whatever kind of jargon it is they make up for that show, it just grates my ears and I can barely sit through an episode when it’s heavy. I hate the words they choose to say.
I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be hateful on this comic, but I just can’t get into the show for that one reason.
It’s so surreal going back to season one and seeing how weird and goofy it is. I remember years ago when it was on Netflix giving the show two shots and, while it was neat, never really gripped me into watching a ton of it. It wasn’t until last summer when I got Hulu I finally did the old “third time’s the charm” and plowed through with the knowledge of how good the show gets later. It took until season 2 but it finally did hook me. It has it’s ups and downs (it took the Islands story line to top the Citadel one) but overall it’s a great show.
