I’d be happier for Phil if he wasn’t a dirty bucket main.
But never the Tri-Slosher, that’s only for the most evil.
If it makes you feel any better, irl I main the Inkbrush despite it being one of the worst weapons in the game. I just have too much fun with that crazy little sucker!
That does make me feel a bit better. Just give me a regular ol’ splattershot any day of the week.
Does Doug really spend any time in “real life”?
Of-course he does. But unlike us, he spends all his ‘real life’ time, playing games or associated tech stuff.
If you ask a little bit more specific; not working and not at home.. then yes, Doug (by choice) and phil hardly have a life beside those things.
But that is why most of us (probably) like this comic. Phil doesn’t have a uber income that he can still has to remind us to do the bills or how annoying a slave-wage working job is. Where Doug probably has a internet based income (that isn’t explained< or able to be explained) and does all the things we would want to do all day long. Until phil reminds us why we can't.
This duo and every support character are just so perfectly balanced to keep us in reality while even the secondary characters or tertiary characters just add that much realism or wack to the story. I just keep loving the comic.
