You know, we knock Dolores all the time for her close-mindedness, but how much better is Phil? Millie’s certainly taken up casual gaming, but I haven’t seen Phil trying out Millie’s hobbies or going on dates at ravey clubs.
Unless… all of Millie’s hobbies take place in the bedroom. Hoo boy.
Millie likes to hang out with her cool friends in cool places while listening to some cool music. We’ve seen Phil tag along with her before, just not very often because how can you make video game comics about that?
You just made a plot about tomato clown zombies and politics simultaneously, and don’t get me started on the hamster pirate ship from Paul and Kyra. I’ve seen you turn the mundane into wacky and ridiculous scenarios all the time. Surely there’s tons of weird stuff you could make happen at a rave. Hallucinogenic kaleidoscopic lights? DJ unleashes a turntable that transforms into a giant nerd-hunting robot? Glowstick samurai combat? Doug getting drunk!?
I predict that some day Phil and Millie will be become the best of friends . . . no?
