Uh-oh, it's a DINOSAUR

About
This comic has the honor of containing the cutest character I’ve ever created named Kyra. She's some sort of lizard or dinosaur or something.  She doesn't really seem to care herself. Tired of living in a lab, she mails herself to a local crazy cartoonist named Paul.  Even though Paul is, well, a looser with a dead end job and bad luck in taking off in art, he'll unwittingly end up in the craziest adventures with her as he does crazy thing like ... leave his apartment.

Kyra is actually one of my older characters from my first comic ideas. Years later I added Paul and I found what it was missing. You won’t believe how much fun I have creating this comic, with the insane expressions and working the most insane ideas into something normal. The original version of the comic made in the later half of '09 consists of ten chapters that was updated bi-weekly. The new version of the comic it in color and updates with three large comics a week.

Phil Like Tacos

About
In a depressing way, Phil Likes Tacos is a compilation of all the horrible things I’ve seen and heard about while working in retail/fast food jobs. But on the other hand, now I get to make fun of all those horrible customers and apathetic coworkers from over the years. It’s also a good opportunity for me to make plenty of video game jokes, because that’s what I do in my spare time. I mean, I draw webcomics. I think I have to.

Phil Likes Tacos was started in May of 2002 and has been going almost every day since then. I didn’t create the extra large and colorful Sunday comics for the first few months, and unfortunately there were two occasions when I missed some comics for various reasons early on. But things have been running smoothly ever since with now more then 2500 comics available. Punch for all!

The most notible aspect of this comic is it’s odd art style. I went for a unique simple stick figure like setting with which I have a lot of fun creating. There’s so many odd ways to draw people. It updates every single day with special ones on Sunday. If you’re going through the old comics, don’t worry. The Sunday comics start to look much better once I started coloring them on the computer.  And yes, I know the older the comics get, the more spelling mistakes you'll find.  I had a really bad habit of not checking enough.

To navigate through this comic, there are “next” and “previous” buttons above the comics. For the first comic, there is a link on the right side as well as a more detailed character list. At the bottom there are a three options in finding certain comics. The first one leads you too the first comic of each month. The second will only show comics that the selected character will show up. The third will only show comics based on certain themes. It can be broad themes like work or video games, or you can be more specific with customers and Nintendo games. Please note that to navigate the character and theme sections all the pages are instead located at the bottom. Now get to reading. You’ve got a long way to go!

95 Gallons

About
Unlike Phil Likes Tacos which might go on forever, 95 Gallons was a 340 page comic I did with a complete storyline. It's a strange tale about how one little fish in a giant aquarium tries to ruin it and make everyone worship him. Now, while the whole thing may seem a little far-fetched, perhaps this fish tank will show us a world that might seem awful familiar. In other words, it's probably the most political comic like ... thing I've ever made. Which again, in other words, just means you might learn something.

The best part about making this comic was that it was so different then Phil Likes Tacos. It was longer, colorful, and actually had some detail. What I had the most fun with was the facial expressions. When you have nothing but eyes and a mouth to work with on every character you really have to overexaggerate it. It was certainly fun to draw it three times a week for over two years, just as I hope it'll be fun reading it.
